Barry’s Summer Youth Employment Program (MBSYEP) at Eagle Academy in SE Washington, DC. Sponsored by the Department of Employment Services (@does_dc), MBSYEP has been nurturing D.C. youth for 45 years.  We delved into the critical subjects of real estate, financial literacy, and the importance of understanding that assets ➖ liabilities 🟰 net worth.  The sessions included:  - Real estate vocabulary - Financial literacy basics - Live deal calculations - Small business presentations  These topics are crucial because they are often not taught in school, leaving many without the foundational knowledge needed for financial independence and success. By covering these subjects, we aim to fill this educational gap and empower students with practical skills for their future.  A special thanks to @healthy_babies_project for hosting us. Together, we are paving the way for a brighter, financially secure future.
